Children Ministries
Nursery
Nurseries for infants - toddlers are provided during all
Sunday morning activities as well as at special services and
activities through the year. Child care for two - four year olds
is provided during both the 8:30, 9:00 and l0:45 a.m. worship services,
with Sunday School classes for those ages at 9:45. We have both
paid and parent volunteers to staff the nursery.

Scouts
Epworth hosts both Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.
Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts, Jr. Girl Scouts, and Brownies meet at Epworth.
Boy Scout Troop 461
Boy Scout Troop 461 meets each Tuesday from 7:00 to
8:30 p.m. at Epworth. Boy Scouts is open to boys between age
11 through 18 (or boys at least 10 1/2 years old who have
completed the fifth grade).
Cub Scout Pack 461
The Cub Scout program seeks to influence the development
of character and encourage spiritual growth. Cub Scouting,
particularly the Webelos program, prepares boys to be Boy
Scouts.
The entire pack meets once a month, on the last Thursday
from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Epworth. Boys 8, 9, and l0 are eligible
to be Cub Scouts.
Sunday School
Sunday school is an integral part of the ministry at Epworth.
In Sunday school, children learn Bible stories as well as gain a
sense of belonging and fellowship within the church.
Children's Sunday School classes are for Two Year Olds - Fifth
Grade. (Age level is determined by their age on October 15th.)
Kindergarten - Fifth Grade begin with music in the sanctuary at 9:45 a.m.,
then adjourn to classes at 10:00 a.m. Two - Four Year Olds go
directly to their classes.
