Brian McDonald, author of Not the End, But the Beginning: The Impact of Race and Class on the History of Jordan High School, 1963-1988 will speak at 3:00 PM. The title of his talk is “Unlearning: Desegregation, Disintegration, and Our Shared Destiny”. Mr. McDonald teaches at Jordan High School; he also serves as an Adjunct Lecturing Fellow in the Program in Education at Duke University and was the first fellow at the UNC Poverty Center. A reception will follow at 4:30 PM.
